Audience Feedback "Ladies Day" by Amanda Whittington (Dec 2010)
Wonderful ,really professional. Will certainly go to see your next production. Thank you Janet Bevitt, Marian Ridge, June Jones, Linda Parkinson (the Woodcock Girls) Excellent performance, really down to earth humour, didn’t want it to finish. The characters were superb. Looking forward to the next one! Thanks so much and here’s hoping that the weather is more favourable next time. Andrea Whitehouse We attended the Thursday night show. My wife and I really enjoyed the show and are looking forward to seeing you perform again.............."what did you have for your tea last night?, we had Pizza " lol! The cast and story was excellent and had a bit more interest for me because I hail from the magnificent City of Hull. Andy Lockwood Great, great show last night directed with genius and imagination. Derek Swain Thank you for a wonderful evening of super acting from your talented company. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and will certainly be looking forward to your next production. Stella Hoyle on behalf of Darrington Ladies Group Thoroughly enjoyable - funny, poignant and very well done. Many thanks Susan Harris Thank you for such an enjoyable evening. It was well worth braving the weather to see Ladies' Day on Saturday night. Whilst we knew we were in for a treat from previous experiences, the performance surpassed our expectations. Catherine Mawson We all had a thoroughly entertaining night out with Tickety Boo's "Ladies Day", which warmed our hearts on a freezing cold night. The cast were convincing and delivered the excellent script perfectly. I love work which has the ring of truth and this play had a lovely balance of laughter and pathos which the hardworking actors handled beautifully. Congratulations Tickety Boo, we will be there for your next show! Jean Neilson Thoroughly enjoyed Ladies Day!!!! It was definitely worth braving the snow and ice, I look forward to the next production. Gwyn Churm Last night’s production was once again excellent the cast drew you into the story as it unfolded making every moment believable. A wonderful night, thank you. Great to see you all as well. Keep up the great work, you're both amazing. Kate McNeil We attended the Saturday performance of 'Ladies Day' and would like to say that we thoroughly enjoyed the performance. The costume and scene change was inspirational. The roller coaster of emotions that were experienced as the characters revealed their stories was nothing short of brilliant. We are eagerly awaiting what your next production will bring. A very well done. Best Wishes Carol & Ron Robertson This is the fourth production of Tickety-Boo Theatre which we have attended and yet again we were not disappointed. We were drawn into the story with the four very believable characters and rejoiced with them at the happy ending. Looking forward to the next production. Sally Lockwood The best part of the play for me was when the ladies were doing slow motion when the last race was "being run", what a delightful experience! You all worked very hard and it was a pleasure to watch. Well done to you all. Dianne Eyre We enjoyed ladies day immensely. It was warm hearted, gentle and very funny, a sort of cross between the Full Monty and Dinner Ladies. The play was very professionally done, and yet you come across as a small friendly group. Thanks for an entertaining evening. We look forward to the next event. Vicky, Kayleigh, Heather, Elaine & Rick A superb way to spend a freezing and snowbound evening! All of the 'Ladies' were excellent actors, creating characters that were believable and reminiscent of people I have met. I am already anticipating a good evening of entertainment when the next production is staged. Sue Todd Thank you for a wonderful night's entertainment! It was a tonic to watch your production on a cold winter's night! The production had something for everyone and I look forward to your next. Carol Stephens Thank you for a superb performance. We battled snow (and ice!) to get there without mishap. The 'ladies' all had such a lot of lines to learn, excellent performances throughout. Funny, with an excellent, but simple, set too. Well done to all the cast and crew, you obviously worked really hard. We shall certainly come again. Well done. Linda Brook Ladies Day was an excellent production in every respect and thoroughly enjoyed by all our party. Keep up the good work and we look forward to the next production. Ken Taylor |
